2018 Holiday Potluck Party!

For the first time since time began, the annual Holiday Potluck WON’T be at the CSPS Hall, but rather will be at Summit’s training facility in Summit’s newer building behind the main brewery.  The kind folks at the CSPS Hall were wonderful to our club for decades, but of late have understandably had to charge us rates closer to what everyone else pays.  Those rates mean that we really can’t use the CSPS Hall on a Friday or Saturday, and even the Sunday rate we’ve paid for the holiday party the past two years has become too much to reasonably bear.

Instead, bring your delicious homemade potluck items and homemade beverages to Summit on Saturday, December 8th.  Beginning at 5:30 there will be a social hour with live music.  The potluck will begin at 6:30, and the live music continues until 7:30.  We need to clear out of the room by 9:00, but the new Summit beer hall is just about fifty steps from where the potluck is.

Summit beer will be available for purchase throughout the party, and homemade beer, homemade mead, and homemade cider are welcome, but please no wine (homemade or commercial), liquor or commercial alcohol!

There will be a prize for the best cider made from this year’s cider purchase, as well as prizes for best potluck item and best beverage.
