REMINDER!
The All Club Campout is just over 1 week away. We would love to have you join us even if it’s just for the day on Saturday! This is a child friendly outing. Tom Roan of the Prairie Homebrewing Companions is bringing a canoe if you are interested in a paddle on the river.
This is the final reminder before the campout. If you are attending and will be participating in the Saturday evening meal, TUESDAY evening 7/28 will be the deadline to reserve your meal. I need to have a final count to purchase ingredients so please be sure to let me know your plans.
The meal will be fire baked Salmon with Kevin’s famous spice rub, fresh sweet corn and a salad.

The all club camp-out is ON, AND at a new location.
We have reserved the “Old Wadena” group camp near Staples. The group site is set up for tent camping with space in the parking area for drive-in campers. A large screened shelter is available for communal cooking and inclement weather. Camping fees will be shared amongst all attendees (anticipated below $50 for the weekend, but it all depends on numbers).
You can expect laid-back beer/mead sharing around the fire pit, yard games (bring one!) acoustic instruments (hopefully). We will not be hosting the traditional Saturday homebrew competition.
- This is a primitive site so no electricity.
- Water is a manual pump well.
- Bathroom facilities are outhouses/vault toilets.
- Shade trees are minimal so popup canopies are probably a good idea.
- Firewood is included, and our reservation starts Friday morning and goes through Sunday morning.
- Bottles, growlers and any other beer containers are encouraged.
- The Saturday evening meal will be prepared by the MHBA for all attendees. Costs will be shared equally amongst all participating.
Last reminder – tomorrow, 6/27/26, at Back Channel’s production spot at Noon we are meeting to try what everyone did with their wort share (or whatever else ya got to share!)
