July Meting at Mighty Axe Hops

Mighty Axe is a 1/4 acre (and growing) hop yard and MN hops hub with a story. They wanted to make sure we came to visit before the hops are harvested in the fall. Over a century ago Eric’s Great Grandfather tilled the land at the Sannerud farm with the values of hard work, collaboration and respect for the land. Nearly a hundred years later Eric wanted to do the same. Joined by his two good friends, Ben and Brian, and spurred by their love of Minnesota craft beer, they started to cultivate high quality, uniquely flavored, and environmentally sustainable hops; thus Mighty Axe Hops was born.

Bring some home brew, bring some food to share and bring chair/blankets…we’ll be having a picnic on the farm!
