It’s Mashout time again and it’s the thirteenth year of the competition!
This years UMMO competition will focus on helping Kathy Stock, who was diagnosed with brain cancer earlier this fall. This is a terrific opportunity to not only have a great time, but to help someone many of us know.
Volunteers are also needed for this event. This typically a well staffed event, so if you’re interested – be sure to volunteer early. All volunteers will be give a commemorative beer and glass. https://mashout.org/
This years speaker will be Michael Dawson, brand manager at Wyeast. He will be giving two different talks at lunch on both Friday and Saturday.
Two other events are the popular Friday night Piss-up and banquet. Check the website for more information – Be sure to get your tickets for the banquet soon as they quickly sell out!
Entries will cap at 1,000 and have hit that level in previous years.
IMPORTANT DATES
– Registration opens on 13 December.
– Dropoff begins on 27 December.
– Registration and dropoff end on 17 January.
– The Mashout happens on 24 and 25 January.
– The banquet happens the evening of the 25 January.
