The annual club “Sinning with the Saints” event is fast approaching. If you are interested, please go purchase your tickets now! This event always draws a huge crowd, with lots of home brewed mead, cider and beer showing up before the game.
Contact John Longballa with any questions.

This informal event is a great opportunity to share your beer, mead, or cider with your fellow members. There will be prizes for People’s Choice Beer and People’s Choice Mead/Cider. You can bring bottles, growlers, or kegs – any amount, but try to bring enough so you can share. Last year, we have over 50 different home brews to taste!
Please try to remember your tasting glass. Friend and family are welcome.
To help this event run smoothly, I assign each entry a number and print out labels with the styles beforehand. Therefore, please contact Gera before the meeting to let me know what home brew you plan to bring, so we don’t have to do too much writing at the event. Also, let me know if you’re going to want a spot on one of the jockey boxes.

Thanks to everyone who made it out to the March Meeting and Chili Cook-off at the CSPS Hall on March 15. We had a great turn-out with lots of fantastic chili and incredible beverages!
Chief Chili Pepper is back at his regular home, as of late, with Gera Exire LaTour taking first place again in the Chili competition. First place for beverages went to Jim Sogla with his Cyser made from Apples and Honey procured through the Minnesota Home Brewers Association! Below is a list of all the winners!

There’s a great website available to help you find the names and contact information for your Minnesota State Legislators:
Currently in Minnesota Law, homebrew is not allowed to be legally transported outside of the home. Not to competitions, not to club meetings, not even to your next door neighbo’s house.
The proposed bills would allow these type of activities to legally continue.
